The Melbourne Institute Survey of Consumer Inflationary Expectations produces a direct measure of inflationary expectations as consumers are asked whether, and by how much, they believe prices will change over the coming 12 months.
This report is produced monthly. Information about wage changes over the previous 12-month period and expectations of wage changes in the year ahead will be provided each quarter.
