HILDA User Training Course

The 2007 HILDA User Training session has now been completed.

HILDA User Training Courses are held regularly (usually once a year) with the aim of enhancing users' experience of the data and their confidence in using it by providing helpful tips and tricks for negotiating the dataset. It is also a valuable opportunity for users to ask questions and raise any issues they may have had with the data.

The next training course will be held in conjunction with the HILDA Conference on Wednesday 18 July 2007 at various locations in the Old Arts Building on campus and the Alan Gilbert Building at the University of Melbourne, 161 Barry Street. Check this webpage closer to the time for session locations. Please check the campus map for information about the location of the buildings.

Users can select from a variety of options, depending on their needs and experience with the HILDA data. New-to-HILDA users will benefit from the morning as well as the afternoon.

Users who have had some experience with the HILDA data and want a refresher on some of the more tricky aspects may opt to come just for the afternoon. Parallel/concurrent sessions will be run in the afternoon so you can choose the sessions of the most interest or relevance to you. More details are given below.
