  The Cross-National Equivalent File contains equivalently defined variables for the British Household Panel Study (BHPS), the Household, Income and Labour Dynamics in Australia (HILDA), the Korea Labor and Income Panel Study (KLIPS) (new this year), the Panel Study of Income Dynamics (PSID), the Russia Longitudinal Monitoring Survey (RLMS-HSE) (new this year), the Swiss Household Panel (SHP), the Canadian Survey of Labour and Income Dynamics (SLID), and the German Socio-Economic Panel (SOEP).

• EU-SILC (European Union - Statistics on Income and Living Conditions)
  The Survey on Income and Living Conditions (SILC) is an annual survey conducted by the Central Statistics Office (CSO) to obtain information on the income and living conditions of different types of households, throughout most countries in the European Union. Data is required in both cross-sectional (pertaining to a given time in a certain time period) and longitudinal (pertaining to individual-level changes over time) dimensions, so certain households will be surveyed on an annual basis.
• The Luxembourg PACO Project
  A project set up by the Centre d'Etudes de Populations, de Pauvrete de Politiques Socio-Economiques (in Luxembourg) to create an international comparative database integrating micro-data from various national household panels over a large number of years.
• Gender and Generations Program
  This project brings together harmonised survey data from 15 countries in the areas of fertility, partnership, and intergenerational and gender relations. The data for Australia come from the HILDA Survey.
• SHARE - Survey of Health, Ageing and Retirement in Europe
  A multidisciplinary and cross-national panel database of micro data on health, socio-economic status and social and family networks of individuals, from 20 European countries, aged 50 or over.

• IZA - Institute for the Study of Labour
  IZA is a private, independent research institute, which conducts nationally and internationally oriented labor market research. Its main focus is on the analysis of problems associated with the organisation of labor in a rapidly developing globalised economic environment. It is based at the University of Bonn in Germany, but its network of Research Fellows and affiliates extends across the globe. Mark Wooden is one of only a small number of Australians who are Research Fellows of the IZA.
