A Policy Simulation of aspects of the tax system using MITTS: Main project

The Melbourne Institute Tax and Transfer Simulator (MITTS) will be used to examine the immediate effects of the New Tax System by looking at winners and losers, measures of inequality and poverty and costings to the Government. In addition, the behavioural component of MITTS allows us to look at the effects of the policy changes after labour supply responses are accounted for.
