The Westpac - Melbourne Institute Survey of House Price Expectations is concerned with consumers’ views about expected house prices. The survey response categories are: rise by greater than 10%; rise by less than 10%; no change; fall by less than 10%; fall by more than 10%; and don’t know.
The survey began in July 2009, on a quarterly basis. It became a monthly series from November 2013.
The Westpac - Melbourne Institute Survey of House Price Expectations report is published monthly and is now available via subscription in 2015.
