Anne Leahy joined the Institute in 1999 and is primarily involved in managing a range of surveys with the Applied Microeconomics research program of the Melbourne Institute. Previous experience as an economist includes 13 years at the Broken Hill Proprietary Company Ltd. (BHP) and 18 months at the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) in Paris. Anne is a graduate of the University of Melbourne.

Anne's key areas of interest have been in domestic and international macro economic analysis.
