Sung-Hee Jeon joined the Melbourne Institute in September 2006. She is currently involved in the Labour Economics and Social Policy and Health Economics research program as a research fellow.

Sung Hee’s research is closely related with the field of applied labour economics. Her wide research interests include labour supply, social and health policies, and family well-being. She is currently interested in reassessing women’s labour supply in the context of the broad range of impacts it has on individuals’ and families’ well-being.  Her other sustained research is the study of medical doctors’ labour supply and the dynamics of the medical services market.
