Introduction to cost-effectiveness analysis in health
Monday 18 April 2016. Held at The University of Melbourne
This one-day short course run by the Health Economics Group provides participants an understanding of how economic analysis can be used to evaluate health programs and aid decision making. No previous knowledge required. The course will consist of short lectures, case studies and practical exercises and is designed for policy makers, clinicians, researchers, managers and others working in the health sector.

Practical methods for health economic evaluation
Tuesday 19 - Thursday 21 April 2016. Held at The University of Melbourne
A three-day intensive computer based course in methods for health economic evaluation. The course covers study design principles, techniques for analysing costs and outcomes and an introduction to decision models. Each module is re-enforced by exercises in Excel, TreeAge Pro and STATA.
It is designed for those engaged in undertaking cost-effectiveness analysis and resource allocation decision-making.
Prerequisites: Participants should be familiar with basic statistics and Microsoft Excel.

Economics of the Health Workforce Conference 2013
